In this morning’s Daily Cal, ASUC Judicial Council Vice Chair Marisa Cuevas explains why “having just-appointed law student Josh Templet on the Council is a good thing”:http://dailycal.org/sharticle.php?id=22255.

bq. “(Templet) will bring a little bit more legitimacy to our decisions,” she said. “People may feel a little bit easier knowing that someone knows a little about real law. It makes people more comfortable.”

Wait a second, no one on the Judicial Council knew anything about “real” law until this guy got appointed? That actually goes a long way towards explaining at least “some of what happened this summer”:http://dailycal.org/sharticle.php?id=20980.
