You may have a final tomorrow, but your mother spent X amount of hours in labor with you. Plus, she went through about nine months with something growing inside her. Don’t forget to wish her a happy Mother’s Day.

bq. “When he was 3 or 4,” she begins, “he would not say a lot but what he said packed a wallop. He was doing something adorable on the floor, and I looked at him and saw that adorable face and said, ‘You’re my son!’ He smiled and said, ‘You’re my moon!’”
