Recently, we found something different right outside of Carvel Ice Cream: a Girls of Pac-10 calendar! Boy, were we excited to see that our Berkeley representative, who goes simply by “Kendall,” is not just any calendar girl–as indicated by her online profile:
What is your favorite thing to do on a date?
We’d start off feeding each other chocolate-covered strawberries by candlelight then engage in deep conversation while traversing in sand along coastal waters and finish off the night with a sensual aroma therapy full body massage
She obviously has a sense of humor. At least, we hope so.
In a recent article about the Pac-10 calendar, the Oregon Daily Emerald explains calendar creator David Freedman’s reason for school pinup girls in the first place.
Because college sports now need to become synonymous with hot chicks, Freedman wanted to make each school’s pinup girl someone who can foster school spirit.
We don’t know when staring (among other things) at a calendar of bikini-clad women became a form of school spirit. However, the Clog does have immense faith in Kendall’s ability to energize us Bears this season–but only if she does it with a sensual aroma therapy full body massage.
