By now, you probably already know the fate of our sturdy Golden Bears, who let victory slip away to the Oregon State Beavers last night. As the Clog is trying to overcome the massive guilt of possibly jinxing the game’s outcome in a recent post, Bear fans everywhere are focusing on how to cope with the narrow 31-28 loss that kept the Bears from snatching a No. 1 title.
Even the traffic ladies were pissed, yelling at blue-and-gold-outfitted pedestrians at the intersection of Bowditch Street and Channing Way during post-game madness. On second thought, they’re always like that.
However, it’s not over! Hold fast to your feisty “Go Bears” spirits, hopes and camaraderie! We would like to reiterate what girloncoast has urged the UC Berkeley LiveJournal Community to do:
bq. let us not forget who we are and where we stand.
And if those uplifting words don’t raise your spirits enough to cheer heartily for the Bears at our next games—there’s always Kendall.
