We can’t review it yet, because it isn’t for sale, but that doesn’t mean the Clog can’t write about how neat it is that UC Berkeley’s physicists can make a radio so small, we are all the more likely to lose it.Of course that also means, assuming we haven’t lost it, that it’s harder to spot for would-be thieves.Still, the world’s smallest radio ain’t a bad title to claim. And the first song it played? Derek & the Dominos’ “Layla.”This reminds us of one of those Ben Stiller movies when he pulls out that tiny (yet super hip!) phone. Is Cal’s latest invention the mark of technology’s progress? Probably. After all, computers and radios were massive back in the day, and now All Things Small seem to be the next big thing.Fine by us. Supersize our Big Mac, microsize our radio. Things balance out. Oh, and go Bears.
