Somewhere out there, Apollo wanted to make sure that we had a quadruple dose of choir music this weekend.

Our University Chorus and Chamber Chorus will be performing “excerpts of authentic gypsy melodies” with guest musicians. That’s right, gypsy music. Get excited.

And if that doesn’t sound like something that’ll toot your horn, check out the CSU East Bay Singers with Vilnius Pro Musica, who will be taking the stage (well, a different stage) at the exact same time just a couple of blocks away. They will be performing Mozart’s “Requiem”–think of it as an opportunity to look refined and cultured for under twenty bucks.
