Sometimes it pays to close your eyes, take a deep breath and give up on dodging the advertising equivalent of flying monkey poo on Sproul Plaza.  Our quarter sheet flyers inform us that Wong Fu Productions–filmmakers extraordinaire moonlighting as a cabal of Asian dudes from UCSD–will be giving a showcase of their “lastest [sic] never before seen work, talk about their experiences, Q and A, and autographs” at 155 Dwinelle from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m tomorrow night.

The group’s kind of a big deal on the internet, with videos like Yellow Fever and Nice Guy having scored hundreds of thousands of hits on Youtube, but at ten dollars a pop it’s a bit pricey to get in. Nevertheless, Wong Fu were here last year to screen “A Moment With You”, and we hear the reception was pretty decent.  Not that the guys had to beat off screaming fangirls with cudgels or anything.
