The Yelp dramz has been around the block already, and today the Daily Cal reported on the relationship between Yelp and local businesses. It’s all he-said-she-said and it boils down to this: It’s been rumored that Yelp offers businesses a chance to highlight positive reviews/suppress negative reviews in exchange for advertisements.

The article doesn’t really conclude whether or not Yelp is truly rubbing elbows with hungry businesses. What will all the Bay Area epicures do if their precious Yelp bible is morally corrupted? This is pandemonium.

But, no, seriously if you want real pandemonium, check out the comments section of the article. It’s complete with Yelp staff impersonations and a spark of a flame war. Who knew Yelp would strike such a nerve?
