It’s difficult to resist indulging in those precious moments of glee when liberal antics irritate our less progressive counterparts. We can’t help feeling, therefore, that Berkeley-based Presente is deserving of our sincere congratulations for pissing off the veritable champions of U.S. conservatism. If you have Rush Limbaugh AND Bill O’Reilly getting in your proverbial face, you’ve earned yourself our unwavering respect.

The online organization, which “exists to advance the interests and promote the political empowerment of Latino communities,” had the gall to confront Limbaugh concerning his remarks about Supreme Court nom Sonia Sotomayor. In an ad airing on Florida Spanish radio this week, Presente criticizes the Republican personality for calling Sotomayor a “racist” and “bigot”—which is fair enough as far as we’re concerned, but, naturally, both Limbaugh and O’Reilly disagreed.

The ultimate outcome of the whole fandango being that Presente has accrued a huge amount of attention (woot!) that the site might not otherwise have received. Oh, irony … snicker snicker.
