Dear pretentious, European academic-type passionately obsessed with atheism and/or skepticism: our kind is your kind; we’ll stay the same! (signed, Berkeley.) Hot shot British evolutionary scientist Richard Dawkins may wind up preaching to the choir at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley this Wednesday, but something tells us he $$$ $$$ won’t mind, and hey, neither do we. Deets below:
Dawkins will be plugging his new book, “The Greatest Show on Earth,” in which he offers a compelling case for evolution and sh*t talks intelligent design aplenty. The event, put on by Berkeley Arts and Letters, will begin at 7:30 p.m. at 2345 Channing Way. The cost of admission is irrelevant, because the place is unfortunately already sold out. Nevertheless, we encourage showing up to either show your support or do something petty and distracting from outside.
