All these accolades are starting to get tiring. Third best university in the world, oodles of NLs, and now this: two Fulbright scholars from (you guessed it) our very own university.
Who are the two lucky ducks? One is Nicholas Crawford, a postdoctoral fellow in statistics who will be “studying stochastic geometry and quantum many body problems at the TECHNION-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.”
The other is Letitia Brown, a research affiliate in ESPM who will be “studying forest fragmentation in the Northern Atlantic rain forest at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in Natal, Brazil.”
DAY-UM. Watch out, world, ’cause these two Berkeley-affiliated researchers are coming for you, academic-style.
And that’s not all! 41 other Fulbright recipients will be coming to our campus, studying everything from “resilience intervention for Chinese youngsters to American noir fiction.”
It’s a post-Thanksgiving Fulbright miracle!

The researcher goes by Letty- not Letitia- Brown. Dr. Brown works too.
Thanks, A. Simons
