Despite that The UC Movement for Efficient Privatization (You See Me Pee for short) is, for the most part, smug and irritating, we’ll give credit where credit is due: This parody of the Daily Cal’s homepage for which they just BOUGHT A REAL DOMAIN NAME is crazily accurate. Like, so accurate that when we saw it, we pulled one of those cartoon spit-take things where we shook our face really fast and went, “Ayayayay,” while our eyes went all buggy. For reals, that actually happened.

Now, you might be saying to yourself, “Bitch, please. All they had to do was fiddle with some pre-existing code a bit, and, like replace some stuff with some new shit,” but you’ve got to admit the initial effect is kind of impressive. Also, the ads are kind of funny. And so is the Arts headline that says “Berkeley Art History graduate finds job.” (Although the real Daily Cal capitalizes throughout its headlines. BOOM! Totally got ‘em. Right, guys? High fives?)

Well, at the very least it’s a lot less insulting to our dignity as an organization than this poor showing. So, yay for that.
