Sheng Kee, notable for its Chinese pastries, will be opening a store on Telegraph Ave. Watch out food trucks, you got some competition coming your way.

Located right on the edge of campus next to The Toaster Oven, Sheng Kee is sure to get everyone fat as hell. They’re also hiring, so if y’all are lookin’ for a job, get on that. Otherwise, be ready for the dessert invasion.

The Clog loves food trucks, and we try to frequent Off the Grid and keep up with the dizzying world of on-the-go gourmet. So we decided to sit down and make a list of just five food trucks that we want to try.

    bacon1.  Bacon Bacon. Let’s begin with bacon, after all, bacon = breakfast, the first meal of the day. And it’s exactly what it sounds like, bacon everything, bacon all the time. Plus, if there’s one thing we love about the gourmet scene, it’s the comeback of bacon. While reading their menu, we proceeded feel a pang in our stomachs that only a lack of bacon brings. The Grilled Cheese, a simple take with something extra (you guessed it – bacon! As well as tomato, and “bacon jam”…what is that?).
