Social progress: delicious and a little fattening

If you were a budding social activist when you were young, you may have been a member of your high school’s Gay-Straight Alliance. If so, now is the time to relish in your memories because Oct. 17-21 is Ally Week, where students across the nation show their support against anti-LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) harassment and bullying.

Of course, our campus will not be left out of Ally-based activities. Cal’s Queer Straight Alliance and GenEq will be hosting a LGBT Ally workshop on Tuesday, Oct 18 (code for TODAY) from 7:30-9 p.m. in 101 Wheeler.
