Send in the clowns! OK, so by clowns, we mean mimes. And by mimes, we mean talking mimes. The San Francisco Mime Troupe is coming to Berkeley this Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20. We hear they’re worth the hike up to Northside.

Yeah, all the dialogue thew us off, too. We were really looking forward to pasty faces and black and white stretchy outfits. Their style lies more along the lines of poking and prodding at the hot topics in the news all for the sake of a good laugh. We’re looking forward to an afternoon at the park full of spoofs, satire and sarcasm. Just the way we like it!

What: SF Mime Troupe
When: July 19, 20. Music starts @ 1:30 p.m., Showtime @ 2:00 p.m.
Where: 300 Rose Street, a block from Cedar & Chestnut, Berkeley
