knittingAre you tight on funds for the holiday season? Perhaps you should consider making your family and friends scarves, knitted creatures or socks during this difficult economic time.

Or perhaps you just enjoy knitting and are hoping to pick up a few tips.

Luckily, it seems a band of knitters congregates on campus each Tuesday to keep you company in these pursuits. They meet outside VLSB during the noon hour every week.

jackdawAfter discovering the latest omen of the world’s coming demise, the Clog encourages Berkeley students to put down their books and enjoy their short-lived time on Earth.

Take a long, hard look at this bird. It doesn’t look as if he or his brethren would ever do any harm to you, now does it? Think again.

unicycle Proposed fee hikes have you itching to run away and join the circus? Well tonight and this weekend at Berkeley High School may be just the place to start.

Starting tonight at 5 p.m. and going until midnight is the 2009 Berkeley Juggling & Unicycling Festival. Now we’re assuming that juggling and unicycling are intended as seperate activities, but judging by te above photo, it seems you may one day be skilled enough to do both at the same time.

Who knows, maybe these skills will be more marketable than that French degree anyway…

The festival runs tonight until midnight, tomorrow from 9 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Berkeley High School.
