Loyal readers of the Clog were probably somewhat perplexed as they perused their Calmail today and noticed a message announcing the grand opening of Tully’s (or should we say, Tully’s at Oski’s Cafe and Study Lounge—yes, seriously).
“But wait,” you probably cried out in distress. “The Clog told me that Tully’s opened weeks ago. Why would they lie like that?”

Between Milano, Strada, the Coffee Spot and others, we can all agree that what the south edge of campus really needed was another coffee establishment.
Luckily, thanks to your fearless ASUC, you will now have just that. A Tully’s kiosk opened just this afternoon in Martin Luther King Jr. Student Union.
The new location sells sandwiches, drinks and colored candy blocks, as well as providing limited seating and Airbears access. It will also be open weekends, although no specific hours were posted that we could find.

Take a theoretical: On your way to class, in a temporary lapse of sanity (probably caffeine deficit-induced), you pass Cafe Milano without getting your morning fix. You’re not prepared to deal with the Golden Bear Cafe’s meager selection or navigate the Dwinellian labyrinth in search of the fifth-floor Peet’s Coffee & Tea. What do you do? Luckily, the ASUC has come to rescue students from this nightmare by approving plans to bring a Tully’s Coffee kiosk to the Student Union building.
