72054367_61e9a343a2So we’re aware that every possible Britney Spears-related pun has already been made at least a thousand times. We also realize that there will be plenty of other activities available this weekend with, arguably, a bit more cultural significance.

But if you’re not down for getting smeared with paint or listening to women talk at length about their downstairs mix-up, you should go to Theater for Charity’s Save Britney: The Musical. Granted, with our favorite Pop Princess as its subject, we imagine vaginas will still come up once or twice. However, if our favorite local purveyors of “foul-mouthed philanthropy” are behind the wheel, we’re sure that by the final curtain call you’ll all be begging, “Gimme, gimme more!”

(It had to be done.)

As a Theater for Charity cast member now in my fifth show, I’m really really glad you posted this! It’s going to be an amazing amount of fun!

P.S. The Old Gregg reference (I have “Love Games” as my ringtone, no lie) has forever endeared you to me, Ms. Borden.

Sorry, I meant Ms. Newby. Apologies! (Why is there no “Delete comment” option!? Awkward.)

@Matt White: Admit it. You really were thinking about me.

@Matt White: All is forgiven, fellow Mighty Boosh fan.
