Get your art on, real free, without having to stray more than two blocks from Unit 1. The Berkeley Art Museum [1] will unveil [2] its eagerly anticipated Fernando Botero exhibit on Wednesday and mere steps down Bancroft Way. Alphonse Berber [3] beckons with some eye-catching 4-D works by Bedri Baykam. The Clog supports block parties of all varieties, especially this kind. Details below:

BAM will present Botero’s 56 piece set based on the abuses at Abu Grahib prison, which was donated to the University in 2007. There will be a discussion on the exhibition at the opening on Wednesday. Sadly, it’s sold out, but you can catch it via webcam [4] starting Friday. BAM is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free for students.

The Alphonse Berber gallery is open daily from noon to 7 p.m. and is free.
