Yeah, so, title’s misleading in a number of ways. Read: by tonight!!, we in fact mean this Sunday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. on the dot.

And by blood, we mean Stanford red ALL OVERRR Memorial Glade when Cal’s Quidditch team sweeps their way to a victory worthy of Rowling’s most epic rendering.

The timing couldn’t be better, considering that this coming weekend also marks the fourth annual Quidditch World Cup in New York — and all at a point when some are endeavoring to make Quidditch an NCAA sport.

Ridiculous? Highly. But face it, you can’t help but be impressed. Like, we wanted Hogwarts to be real as much as the next dork guy, but no way did we think someone would actually figure out how to make a broomstick fly.

Wait — what? You’re saying they just sort of … straddle them on the ground? What the heck do we have to live for now?
